JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
|
|
Vancouver Hockey School's Junior Development Program is
an intense spring and summer curriculum aimed at improving major midget
and current
junior hockey players overall game. The two phase
program allows players to effectively train on-ice without comprising
gains made off-ice with their respected personal trainers. This highly
selective program allows players to compete with players at the elite
level in order to keep their development moving forward.
If you
register for the program and did not play Major Midget or higher in
2009/10, you will be removed from the program and charged a $25.00 admin
fee.

SPRING SESSION
During the spring session, students
receive individual skating instruction from professional skating coach
Derek Popke. Practice plans involve isolation skating, individual skill
development such as shooting and passing, and controlled scrimmages.
Although intense, practice sessions are designed with adequate recovery
time in order to allow participants to make sufficient gains off the
ice. Goalies are present at all sessions. This camp is led by Derek
Popke and Milan Dragecivic |
